COMPATIBILITY
Vehicle compatibility
Due to the large range of adjustability we have incorporated into our racks, they fit a large range of bikes / vehicles. The final product is the result of testing on a vast array of different vehicles.
When using a standard towball you will need 50mm+ free space behind the towball to accommodate our mount - this fits 99% of vehicles tested.
Bike compatibility
Scorpion Racks are designed to work with mountain bikes which have suspension forks fitted. This includes both single and dual crown forks, though not ‘Lefty’ forks commonly found on Cannondale frames.
We are looking to develop alternative mounting options in order to carry road bikes. If you are interested in this, please get in touch.
Mud guard compatibility
The rack is compatible with mud guards mounted to the fork lowers, although not to the crown.
Ground clearance
If you are mounting the rack to a vehicle that is particularly low to the ground or has an unusually low towball then you will need to be mindful of clearance.
Ordering Over Sea's
Our rack is designed for the U.K market and meets this country's rules and regulations however the rules and regulations in other countries in Europe may vary and it is down to the customer to ensure they are abiding by them.
