Rack positions
Recommended setup positions
Tow ball mounted rack setup and usage:
When transporting bikes the rack should be positioned in either of the ‘A’ or ‘B’ positions NOT the ‘C’ position as shown on the diagram above.
Position ‘D’ allows you to hang your bikes saddle on the rack and carry out any emergency repairs that are required to your bike.
If there is a clearance issue and you are unable to adjust the rack to either of these positions you will be required to remove your front wheel so that you are able to achieve this position.
Flange plate mounted rack setup and usage:
When transporting bikes the rack can be positioned in either of the ‘A’ or ‘B’ or ‘C’ positions as shown on the diagram above.
Position ‘D’ allows you to hang your bikes saddle on the rack and carry out any emergency repairs that are required to your bike.
If clearance is still an issue please contact Scorpion Racks and it may be possible to fit a spacer in order to gain some more clearance if required
